We're seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 9-month fixed term contract to lead the delivery of a strategic, In-Housing of Insurance Claims Project. This initiative is a key priority for our business.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the project — from planning and stakeholder engagement through to execution and change management. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure the solution is fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with our broader business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating Adica resources involved in the in-housing of Insurance Claims project, ensuring alignment with delivery milestones and internal priorities.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.
- Engage and manage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee change management in collaboration with our Change team, ensuring communication strategies to support the project.
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for future growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Financial Services, with knowledge of general insurance products and regulatory frameworks (e.g. APRA, ASIC).
- Strong background in delivering customer-focused projects, particularly in claims, policy administration, and underwriting.
- Demonstrated success in leading technology transformation and data migration initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMBOK, AgilePM, Prince2) and tools (MS Project, JIRA).
- Must hold valid Australian work authorisation for all visa types including temporary work visas.
