The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Stores Supervisor to join our Purchasing Team on a Part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unload, and process deliveries based on invoice and receiving reports
Operating a forklift to unload goods, (forklift license advantageous)
Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between invoices and actual received merchandise.
Conduct inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
Assist management in training, counseling, and motivating employees; assign and ensure work tasks are completed correctly and on time; serve as a departmental role model or mentor
Complete and maintain required departmental paperwork.
Place orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery to satisfy hotel requirements and to trace delivery to ensure operational needs are met
Successful Candidates will have:
Previous experience in a Supervisory Store person role or similar is preferable
A friendly and professional approach when interacting with people
Proficiency with computers, systems and Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of deliveries and orders
