Our Bundaberg Community Care Branch is on the look-out for their next Exercise Physiologist to join the team.
Your Role
As an Allied Health Professional, you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. This is a great opportunity to work across a wide range of client bases - from needing help with basic equipment, through to home modifications to assist our clients to stay safe in their homes and live as independently as possible.
Your tasks will include:
* Assessment and clinical exercise prescription for chronic disease management and functional ability
* Direct group-based therapy classes i.e.. Hydrotherapy, Balance and Strength and Lungs in Action (Lungs in Action training and experience in hydrotherapy/aqua therapies beneficial)
* Direct and supervise individual exercise prescription- mostly clients home based
* Experience with Package care, NDIS, EPC and DVA beneficial but not essential
* Manage case load and review existing clients to meet their needs and audit requirements
* Liaise with other Health professionals in overall case management of clients.

Role Requirements
* Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
* Current Police Screening Certificate
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
* Current registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
* Current Queensland driver's licence
* Good computer & mobile device skills
* Effective communication skills
