Where you’ll be working
You will be working at Victoria’s largest sub-regional health service and the major specialist referral centre for the region. This 282-bed facility offers high standards of clinical and patient care and is undergoing a $384.2 million redevelopment, including a bigger emergency department, more operating theatres, a new paediatric unit, 22 additional inpatient beds, and dedicated areas for pathology and dialysis services.
As a Consultant Emergency Medicine specialist, you will contribute to clinical excellence in a busy Emergency Department, working closely with the Emergency Medicine Clinical Director. Your responsibilities include providing specialist services to a varied casemix, monitoring and reviewing trauma response, developing policies, and participating in quality improvement and risk management. There are also opportunities for teaching and professional development.
