About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electronic Security Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and programming of a wide range of electronic security systems. You will work with advanced technologies such as Gallagher, Integriti, Tecom, CCTV, networking, and intercoms, ensuring our clients' security systems operate at peak performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform servicing, maintenance, and programming of electronic security systems
* Work with systems including Gallagher, Integriti, Tecom, CCTV, networking, and intercoms
* Service and support a variety of CCTV systems including Indigo, Avigilon, Geutebruck, Genetec, and Milestone
* Complete system upgrades, troubleshooting, and fault‑finding
* Work independently or within a team, both in metro and occasional regional locations
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
* Comply with WHS requirements and maintain a safe work environment
* Conduct system inspections, testing, and performance tuning
* Provide training and guidance to end users on system functionality
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electronic security systems
* WA Security Licence (Installer/Consultant)
* Open Registration Cabling Licence
* WA Class C Drivers Licence
* EWP (High Risk WP) and Working at Heights licence
* Valid National Police Clearance
* Experience with commercial and integrated access control and IP CCTV systems
* Strong fault‑finding, diagnostic, and technical skills
* Ability and willingness to learn new systems and technologies (training provided)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* National Police Clearance and recent Drug & Alcohol test (valid)
* Construction White Card (preferred or willing to obtain)
