The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant management of project documents, including registering them correctly in the Document Control Management System.

Responsibilities will include:

* Setting up, managing, and administering the Project Document Management System - InEight.
">
* Managing control of all revisions of drawings, documents, specifications, and general correspondence across various departments and disciplines.
">
* Delivering accurate, timely, and responsive services, including registering and handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation.
">
* Ensuring effective document and data control occurs according to company and internal-customer requirements.
">
* Providing training, support, and guidance to internal and external parties in the use of the Document Management Processes, Procedure, and System.
">
* Providing visibility and transparency of reporting to improve the effectiveness of the document control function as an input to project performance.
">
* Contributing to continuous improvement of the function to assist project performance.
">
* Supporting the development of a project document archiving procedure.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of document management principles and practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include:
">

* A tertiary qualification in business administration, information management, or a similar field.
">
* Formal training and intimate knowledge of the InEight Document Management System highly desirable.
">
* At least 3 years' previous experience in document or records management, ideally within an engineering consultancy or on large projects.
">
* Basic understanding of engineering design and construction documents.
">
* Advanced computer skills with intermediate/advanced skills in MS Office packages.
">
* Ability to work well in a team, but also comfortable working autonomously.
">
* High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interface, interact, and work with various project areas, disciplines, management teams, and external parties.

* Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.

* High level of accountability and demonstrated ability to encourage process enhancements and innovation.

The role will be located in our project office in Milton with very infrequent travel to site required.
