We are excited to welcome a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to our dynamic multidisciplinary team in the medical unit. In this role, you will perform duties under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse, to ensure that a high level and quality of patient care is delivered. The 30 bed Acute Medical Ward provides care for patients with a wide variety of complex medical conditions, offering an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge and experience. The ward focuses on delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care, with an emphasis on teamwork, professional development, and patient-centred outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Carries out all duties under the direction and supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, (After Hours Clinical Nurse Manager/Leading Hand).
- Maintains and develops clinical skills to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
- Delivers a high standard of patient care utilising appropriate resources cost effectively.
- Adheres to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards.
- Acts as the patient’s advocate and facilitates the rights of individuals.
- Participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
- Prioritises workload using resources effectively.
- Nurses able to commit to night shift are highly regarded.
You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care. To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. - Salary: $79,755 to $102,048 per annum (pro-rata), plus 12% superannuation
