About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to work in a dynamic environment, providing person-centred care to individuals experiencing mental illness in the community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating care for consumers of the Acute Care Community Team as a key worker.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide holistic, least-restrictive, culturally safe care to service users.
* Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, recovery-oriented care.
* Work in partnership with service users, carers, and families to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Administer long-acting depot injections in the Depot Clinic and provide relief cover in the Clozapine Clinic.
* Practice and promote safe, efficient, and effective nursing care in accordance with national practice standards, local health district policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Postgraduate qualifications in mental health or a related field.
* Proven experience working in mental health services.
