Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for Allied Health Assistants to join the Allied Health Services team on both a casual and part-time basis.

As An Allied Health Assistant Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of clinical care to patients
* Working under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists and occupational therapists to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals
* Completing non-patient-based duties, such as cleaning, auditing, completing checklists etc.
Essential Criteria
* Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance desired/ would be highly valued
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy roles
* Experience working with or providing care to frail/aged/disabled people in a health care setting or a basic understanding of exercise programs
* Must be available to work weekdays as well as occasional weekend shifts
