Expert RF Engineer Wanted for Complex Design and Development Projects
Are you a seasoned engineer with expertise in designing cutting-edge electrical/electronic solutions? We are seeking an experienced Senior RF Engineer to join our team.
In this critical role, you will play a key part in managing project initiatives, influencing processes, and making significant improvements to our products and systems. Your responsibilities will include:
* Design and development of complex electrical/electronic concepts into finished working designs based on specifications, customer requirements, and multidisciplinary inputs.
* System integration involving the assembly and integration of products/systems containing microwave components or subsystems, leveraging your extensive troubleshooting expertise.
* RF system synthesis and definition for complex electro-optical solutions.
* Coordination of system-level requirements internally and with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Microwave component design and development for multidisciplinary product applications.
* Test and analysis including developing test procedures, specifying test equipment (including Vector Network Analyzers, Noise Figure Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers), and providing technical assistance during testing of prototype and production hardware.
* Continuous improvement plans for the Electrical Engineering team.
* Project management with general supervision, estimating project completion, and communicating regularly with other engineering disciplines.
* Design review and mentorship including coordinating and leading design reviews, presenting complex internal and external design reviews, and providing technical supervision and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Production support involving system integration and test.
* Documentation development and management through the configuration management process.
* Design analysis and establishment of circuit-level tests to validate designs, including thermal effects and tolerance contributions.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; OR a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
A strong background in RF design experience is essential, with 2+ years of experience designing and developing microwave components, circuits, and subsystems for multidisciplinary product applications. Proficiency in MS Office products is also required.
Additional preferred skills include mixed signal Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and development experience, preferably with Mentor Graphics tools.
