This is a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid role that combines on-site installation and servicing of accessibility lifts with in-house fabrication in a well-equipped factory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of stair lifts, home elevators, and wheelchair platform lifts
 * Conduct routine and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on installed units
 * Fabricate and modify lift components using cutting, welding, and fitting techniques in the workshop
 * Read and interpret technical drawings and installation schematics accurately
 * Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with industry regulations
 * Work both independently and collaboratively with team members and supervisors
 * Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction
 * Ensure proper documentation of service and installation activities
About This Opportunity:
We are seeking a hands-on technician with a strong mechanical or fabrication background who excels in a diverse role. You'll need to bring:
 * Proven experience as a welder, fitter, fabricator, or mechanical technician
 * A strong aluminium Tig Welder certification
 * Strong skills in metalwork, assembly, and workshop practices
 * Ability to manage your own time effectively and take initiative
 * High attention to detail
 * Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
 * A valid driver's license
