The Opportunity Are you an all-rounder who thrives in a dynamic environment?
We're looking for a proactive and adaptable Senior Administration Officer to join our Airports Team.
This role provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Manager Airports and airport management team across a wide range of functions.
You'll be the go-to person for a variety of tasks, from assisting with customer enquiries, data management, compliance support, coordination commercial leases and general administration.
What You'll Do: Be the friendly face, approachable and the problem-solver for all airport administration tasks; You will be organised, flexible, and eager to learn; Offer comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Manager Airports and across the whole department as needed; Provide high-level administrative support to manage airport compliance functions, including statutory and management reporting requirements; Keep records accurate and up to date, supporting audits and compliance; Manage electronic files and documents in SharePoint, keep electronic files up to date and compliant with audit requirements, and help staff navigate the system; Assist with the preparation of information to incorporate into annual reports, monthly Council Reports and other reports as required; Coordinate commercial leases for various tenancy areas within the airports; Carry out general clerical tasks including mailing, electronic filing and record keeping; Be flexible and willing to assist as needed with a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For: A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills; Strong organisational and time management abilities; Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, written and verbal; Experience with SharePoint and document control (or keen to learn); Certificate IV in Business Administration and at least three years equivalent experience; Understanding of confidentiality with documentation and administrative tasks.
