Maintenance Planner The Company This Australian manufacturing business is experiencing strong growth, further cementing its position as a leader in its sector. With a focus on operational excellence and reliability, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to support their continued success. The Role You will be responsible for ensuring effective planning, coordination, and delivery of maintenance activities across the site. Your key responsibilities will include: Planning and scheduling weekly maintenance activities through the CMMS (MEX, Maximo or SAP). Coordinating contractor management, vendor relationships, and stores/inventory control. Managing purchasing, requisitions, and spare parts availability. Preparing and overseeing plant shutdowns and project-related works. Partnering with trades and production teams to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time and in full. Developing and driving improvements in long-term maintenance strategies, with a focus on reliability and OEE. Your Background To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring: A trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical (highly regarded). Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner in food, pharmaceutical, packaging or other complex manufacturing. Strong CMMS knowledge, ideally with MEX, Maximo or SAP. Demonstrated success in developing preventative maintenance systems. Experience with vendor management and oversight of stores/inventory functions. Strong stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to reliability improvement.
