Charlie's of Darwin is on the hunt for a Duty Manager who can run a tight ship while keeping the atmosphere buzzing. We're an award-winning restaurant, cocktail bar and distillery that celebrates Territory flavours, local produce and unforgettable hospitality and we need someone who can lead from the front and bring the energy.
What You'll Be Doing:
Think of this as part ring-leader, part problem-solver, part hospitality legend.
* Running smooth, confident services (restaurant + bar)
* Leading and hyping up the FOH team during busy shifts
* Making guests feel genuinely welcome (not just "table 12")
* Managing bookings, walk-ins and service flow like a pro
* Keeping standards high - service, drinks, presentation
* Handling cash, POS and end-of-shift wrap-ups
* Jumping in wherever needed (yes, even polishing glassware)
* Supporting events, functions and big Darwin nights
Who We're Looking For:
You're calm under pressure, great with people, and know how to read a room.
* Experience as a Duty Manager / Supervisor / Assistant Manager
* Strong food, wine and cocktail knowledge (or keen to level up)
* Confident leader who leads on the floor, not from the office
* Cool head during busy services
* Great communication, great attitude, great energy
* Available nights, weekends and peak periods
* RSA (or happy to get one)
Bonus points if you love local produce, craft spirits or a perfectly timed negroni.
