ABOUT THE ROLE We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Resources team supporting the long-term Civil and Electrical Construction scopes at Barrow Island. As the Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation works, coordinating daily site activities, and leading electrical crews to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and HSEQ requirements. ABOUT BARROW ISLAND Barrow Island is located around 60 kilometres from the mainland and approximately 139 kilometres west of the Port of Dampier. It's also home to Chevron's Gorgon Project and WA Oil operations. It is the largest oil field discovered in Western Australia. Ertech has been a major service provider to Chevron Australia's Gorgon Project for over 10 years. Barrow Island provides excellent on-site accommodation including meal services, as well as gym facilities (mixed and separate gyms available for men & women with a variety of fitness classes to choose from), sporting facilities including a football field, golf simulator, bike hire, 2 swimming pools, basketball court, tennis court and a cricket pitch! Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Supervise electrical installation works across Butler Park HVAC and associated project scopes, ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000). - Coordinate daily electrical activities with construction management and other discipline supervisors to support efficient project delivery. - Lead and manage electrical crews, including leading hands, electricians, and trade assistants, ensuring productivity and effective workforce allocation. - Assist with planning and sequencing electrical works across multiple work fronts to meet project schedule requirements. - Ensure all works comply with Chevron site safety requirements and Ertech procedures by reviewing SWMS, JHAs, and promoting secure work practices. - Oversee quality assurance processes, including ITP inspections and testing records, while liaising with engineering, commissioning, and QA teams and providing progress updates to the Construction Manager. To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: - WA Electrical Workers Licence - CPCWHS1001 Construction White Card - Cert IV in Electrical / Electrical Supervision (preferred) - LVR / CPR (current) - RIIWHS204E Working at Heights - Strong experience supervising electrical construction crews in resources or oil & gas environments - Experience with QA/QC documentation, SWMS, ITPs and permit systems - Ability to coordinate works with Electrical, civil, mechanical and other trades At Ertech, we're committed to investing in our people and creating a workplace where you can thrive.
