Level 1 Support Engineer

$60,000 - $65,000 salary + Super. Candidates must have full rights to work in Australia.
What will you be doing?
As a Level 1 Support Engineer, you'll be the first line of technical support for our clients, assisting with a broad range of issues across Microsoft 365, networking, and user support.
Your day will involve:
* Providing first-level technical assistance and managing tickets through to resolution
* Troubleshooting issues across M365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online) and network environments
* Supporting end‐users with software and hardware problems
* Escalating complex incidents where required while ensuring clear communication and documentation
* Performing regular system maintenance, updates, and patching
* Collaborating with senior engineers and learning across cloud and cybersecurity functions
YOU NEED TO HAVE
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in IT support or a technical environment
* Exposure to case management or ticketing systems
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online)
* Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, switches, routers, VPNs)
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
* A customer‐focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively
IT'S NICE TO HAVE
* Experience working within an MSP
* Industry qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience
* A proactive attitude toward learning and professional growth
