**Ecom Capital **is a company that is primarily focused on the helping of startup and scaleup of eCommerce founders. Assisting and providing training and education to them so that they can build successful brands and eventually grow their brand/business to a level that it can be partnered by with Ecom Capital, or alternatively it can represent a potential sale/purchase opportunity for Ecom Capital.
**About the position**
This role is for the financial controlling/management and optimisation of **Ecom Capital **as well as the other companies owned by and between the company. The financial controller/financial manager is a role that will be solely responsible for the efficient management of finance across all companies, this means:
- Creating structures and processes for AP/AR (keeping in mind the scale of business and
business growth)
- Creating and executing on structures and processes for commission for sales reps and
affiliate teams (local and international)
- Optimisation of company finance, i.e. quarterly software/subscription reviews and negotiations, reviewing all vendor agreements and more.
- Working closely with the CEO on financial reporting and analysis to increase profitability
- Cash Flow analysis, budgeting and enforcement of budget within the departments
- Sales forecasting and projections and working with the team to hit such targets with
certain margins
- Efficiently utilising Xero functionality for correct display of data
- Managing the financial reporting of all eCommerce assets owned by Ecom Capital
- Managing the administration of the shares sales and share sale agreements/distribution/calculation of distribution payments to investors
- Management and upkeep of records pertaining to the sale of shares and reporting for the
investors on a quarterly basis
- Assisting the CEO to execute on acquisition of new assets, sale of existing assets
and raising more capital
- Creating processes, templates, guidelines and protocols for Finance

This is a long term role, for someone who has great financial acumen with prior experience working with a SME/Mid sized firm. This role has immense opportunity to have a direct impact on small, fast growing companies ability to grow, as well as have the potential upside opportunity to become a part owner/earn in owner within the company.
This role will likely grow and progress into what would be a CFO type position with a ESOP/share option being available based on the performance of the individual.
This will be a full time role that will require 5 days per week, currently our entire team are remote, however we are looking to expand into the new year with a new office space at which point a minimum of 2-3 days per week would be required within the office.
