A high-growth energy manufacturing business is seeking an experienced
Head of Human Resources
to establish and lead the HR function from the ground up on their new site.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will partner closely with operations, manufacturing, engineering, and corporate teams to build a
scalable, compliant, and high-performance people function
to support rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
* Build and lead the HR function, including policies, systems, governance, and frameworks
* Develop and implement people and culture strategies aligned to business and production goals
* Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce strategy and organisational design
Workforce Planning & Talent
* Lead workforce planning aligned to production targets and growth forecasts
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate roles
* Support workforce growth and capability development in a scaling environment
Industrial Relations & Compliance
* Lead IR strategy including award interpretation and EA development
* Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, WHS, and EEO obligations
* Manage complex ER matters and risk mitigation
Performance, Capability & Systems
* Embed performance frameworks aligned to operational KPIs
* Develop leadership, training, and succession programs
* Implement HRIS, reporting, and workforce analytics to support decision-making
About You
* 8+ year's HR experience
, including senior leadership roles in manufacturing or industrial environments
* Proven experience building or scaling HR functions in
high-growth businesses
* Strong IR, employment law, and WHS knowledge
* Commercial, pragmatic, and hands-on leadership style
* Strong stakeholder engagement and change management capability
* Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related discipline
