Ongoing position 1.0 FTE (Part time negotiable) Commencing January 2026. Applications close: Wednesday 24 September 2025 at 9.00am. 
We are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to deliver an engaging and comprehensive curriculum. You will inspire students to explore music theory, history, composition, and performance, helping them develop a deep understanding and appreciation of music across all year levels. 
You will join a supportive and collaborative Performing Arts Faculty, committed to high-impact teaching and continuous professional growth. At St Mary\'s College, there is a strong focus on developing skills and making a meaningful contribution to a vibrant learning community. 
Responsibilities 
- Deliver an engaging and comprehensive music curriculum across all year levels. 
- Inspire students to explore music theory, history, composition, and performance. 
- Collaborate within the Performing Arts Faculty to support high-impact teaching and professional growth. 
- Contribute to a vibrant learning community at St Mary\'s College. 
Qualifications and Eligibility 
- Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education. 
- Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching. 
- Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school. 
- Have appropriate graduate and/or postgraduate qualifications. 
- Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.
