Key Responsibilities
* Maintain relationships with community leaders and members.
* Assist with policing matters related to local Aboriginal issues.
* Provide advice to police commands on local Aboriginal issues.
Working as an Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer is a unique opportunity to develop strong relationships with Elders, Leaders and community members by establishing a network of contacts to foster cooperation and communication.
The successful candidate will have a profound understanding of Aboriginal heritage and culture as well as experience working within their local Aboriginal community.
