Design is not an afterthought at The Calile, it is a defining language. It’s how we speak without saying a word. It is how we signal a sense of place, of elegance, of ease. The Head of Creative is the guardian of this language, responsible for leading the creative direction and visual storytelling that make The Calile both iconic and intimate.
Reporting into the Commercial team, the Head of Creative steers a multidisciplinary creative function, working ‘on the tools’ and strategically across every expression of the brand. From shaping high-impact campaign visuals to directing on-property shoots, from curating collateral to inspiring internal communications, this role ensures that our identity is not only consistent but compelling at every touchpoint.
More than an executor, the Head of Creative is a brand steward, someone who understands that great design doesn’t shout, it resonates. With conceptual clarity, an instinct for storytelling, and an eye for refinement, you will elevate our visual presence to be both timely and timeless.
This is a leadership role for someone who is equal parts visionary and doer. You will guide and mentor creatives, collaborate with departments and external agencies, and translate business objectives into artful, effective communications. You will ensure every detail reflects the design integrity and quiet confidence that defines The Calile.
Role Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior creative role within luxury, lifestyle, fashion, or hospitality
* Proven leadership experience managing creative teams and external agencies
* A refined design portfolio demonstrating conceptual strength and brand storytelling
* Deep knowledge of visual identity, layout, typography, and cross-channel brand execution
* Expertise in creative direction for photography and video production, including styling and shoot logistics
* Commercial acumen with the ability to align creativity to business outcomes
* Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across departments and with third-party partners
System Requirements
* Adobe Creative Cloud
* UI/UX & Digital Product Design Tools such as Figma or similar
* Web Design & Development – Webflow / Wix / Squarespace and HTML/CSS - preferred
* Video editing tools – Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Reslve- preferred
During the interview process, we will ask to view your portfolio, and for those who are shortlisted, we will have a work sample task to complete.
