**The Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has become available for a natural born Sales Hunter who is energetic, result driven and passionate about providing outstanding service to join our dynamic team

This role will be responsible for the management of customer relationships and daily sales activities within Victoria.

As the Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Identifying and securing new customers with your exceptional sales closing skill set and increased prospecting activity.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and growth from existing and new customers.
- Managing your pipeline of prospect opportunities.
- Identifying market intelligence, best practice and relevant economic trends to guide decision making.
- Travel to customer sites across Victoria.

**What we need from you**

You will be a great fit for our team if you have:

- Aptitude to learn
- Excelled skills in developing new business
- Experience in External Technical Sales/Account Management (preferable not essential)
- A motivation and drive to achieve results & exceed targets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A passion for providing customer service
- The ability to interact with customers and staff at all levels
- Well-developed computer skills

Ideally to succeed in the role and hit the ground running, it would be a huge advantage if you also have:

- Prior experience with specialty, industrial, or medical gases (preferable not essential)
- Sales experience in Universities, Commercial Labs, pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, or medical industries
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering, Science or similar
