This is a rare opportunity to build and shape the WHS function from the ground up in a standalone position, driving meaningful change across a workforce of over 1, people.
The Role This role requires a confident, hands-on WHS professional who can engage with leaders across the business and deliver practical solutions.
You'll be responsible for creating and embedding WHS frameworks, managing workers compensation and return-to-work programs, and building initiatives that improve safety culture and employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities Develop and roll out WHS policies, frameworks and initiatives (through use of paper system).
Manage workers compensation and return-to-work programs.
Partner with and influence General Managers across ANZ, delivering quarterly WHS updates and initiatives.
Implement mental health and psychosocial safety programs tailored to industry needs.
Lead WHS strategy with integrity, ensuring compliance and engagement across the workforce.
Support the business in building and maintaining a strong safety-first culture.
Minimal travel, with hybrid work arrangements available.
About You Proven experience in WHS management, ideally in aged care, medical, or similarly complex, people-centric industries.
Strong knowledge of workers compensation and return-to-work programs.
Practical and execution-focused, comfortable building WHS processes from the ground up.
Engaging communicator with the ability to influence senior leaders and frontline teams alike.
Confident delivering presentations and updates to executive teams and large groups.
Comfortable working independently in a standalone role.
