You will be working in a community-based setting, providing specialist treatment services for clients who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviours. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with local service providers to deliver programs that engage with the local Aboriginal communities.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing direct counselling services to individuals and families
* Collaborating with local service providers to deliver programs that engage with the local Aboriginal communities
* Working with local communities to develop and implement community development and capacity building initiatives
Selection Criteria
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Counselling or Community Welfare or other qualification deemed equivalent by employer
* Demonstrated ability to provide counselling services to individuals and families in the context of child sexual assault, trauma, violence and abuse
* Demonstrated ability to create Aboriginal community connections, engagement and collaboration
