Place Logic is looking for an Urban Designer to join our growing studio across Canberra and NSW.
Our work focuses on shaping new communities, public spaces and urban environments, projects grounded in a design-led approach from first ideas through to delivery. We work across scales and disciplines, with an emphasis on thoughtful, place-based outcomes.
The person we are looking for brings 4+ years' experience, a strong design awareness, and a genuine interest in how exceptional places come together. Someone who is as comfortable testing ideas as they are resolving them, and who takes pride in producing clear, well-considered work.
The Role
This role sits within a multidisciplinary team working across:
* Master planned communities
* Neighbourhoods and estates
* Public realm and streetscapes
* Urban renewal and infill
The person we are looking for contributes across both ideas and delivery, including:
* Developing design concepts and carrying them through to resolution
* Preparing clear drawings, diagrams and visual material
* Supporting the coordination of project components
* Contributing to client engagement and project conversations
The work spans the full project lifecycle, offering involvement from early thinking through to approvals and delivery.
How We Work
We are a collaborative studio where people take ownership of their work while learning from those around them.
We value clarity, curiosity and good judgement both in design and how we work together. Our projects are developed through close collaboration across urban design and landscape architecture, ensuring outcomes are integrated, considered and grounded in place.
What We Offer
* A strong pipeline of meaningful, design-led work
* A studio environment that is supportive, open and collaborative
* Opportunities to grow capability and take on responsibility
* A 4-day work week and flexible working arrangements
* A range of additional employee benefits
We place real value on balance, recognising that good work comes from having the time and space to think.
