In your role as Maintenance Controller, you will implement policies and procedures, contribute to drafting Simulator Maintenance procedures, and ensure activities comply with CASA requirements, manufacturer specifications, and best practices.
You will perform activities related to corrective and preventive maintenance, crash support, overhaul, repair, and modification of electronics, computer hardware, software, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Providing ongoing technical expertise, maintenance advice, and hands-on support for simulation and aircraft systems will be key responsibilities.
You will coordinate maintenance activities across the MEL port to ensure asset reliability and servicing standards are maintained.
To be successful, you will possess:
* Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Knowledge of aircraft systems from a Flight Crew and Maintenance Engineer perspective: Airbus A330, A380, Boeing B737, B767, B787, Bombardier Dash 300, Q400
* Experience in technical purchasing or provisioning of maintenance services
* Understanding of planning, purchasing, and inventory control
* Knowledge of Group procurement and finance policies
* Effective delegation and management skills
* Relationship development experience with commercial firms
* Ability to think across dimensions and link to financial outcomes
* History of integrating maintenance, safety, operational, and cost outcomes to improve efficiency
* Ability to work under pressure to meet financial targets
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong attention to detail and operational focus
