We prioritize equitable recruitment and selection processes, including making reasonable adjustments to support applicants throughout the employee lifecycle.About The RoleAs the Corporate Services Officer, you will:Manage and coordinate corporate governance processes, including financial, human resource, asset, and budget management across all units within the Branch.Provide support, monitor, and review systems and information, offering recommendations for improving corporate governance functions and processes within the Branch.The Corporate Services Officer reports to the Business Manager, Office of the Assistant Director-General, Intergovernmental Relations and Schools Resourcing Review branch. You may also work under the direction of other senior staff during peak periods.Responsibilities IncludeAdvise the Business Manager and senior managers on administrative and organizational issues impacting service delivery and branch capability, ensuring maximum results within allocated resources.Provide independent advice on human and physical resource management trends, including monitoring salary expenses, and contribute to branch strategies and plans.Develop, document, and implement administrative policies, practices, and technologies to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Coordinate and review financial and corporate reporting, including budgets, risk management, performance reports, and annual reports.Manage electronic and other administrative systems, including onboarding programs.Oversee office accommodation, storage, inventory, and equipment needs, including procurement and replacement.Organize and conduct training sessions, providing ongoing support to staff on administrative policies and procedures.Prepare correspondence, reports, and submissions related to finance, HR, records, and office administration.Liaise internally and externally on corporate governance issues.Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor or delegate.How to ApplyAttach a brief resume with contact details for 2 referees familiar with your work history.Provide a two-page summary outlining your interest, skills, experience, and how you meet the key competencies in the Role Description.Applications from recruitment agencies will not be accepted.
