SydneyWealth ManagementPermanentOur client provides a full brokerage service to individual clients investing in both domestic and international equities, and wealth management services including financial planning, margin lending, and managed funds investments.A key function of the Adviser Assistants role is the ability to deal confidently with Private Client Advisors and their HNW clients in a high volume, time-critical environment.The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years’ experience in a retail equity trading client services or operations role, and ideally will have completed their RG146.RESPONSIBILITIES:Extensive interaction with Advisers and clients, including but not limited to:Act as liaison between dealing desk, internal departments, external organisations, service agents, and clientsAnswer all incoming client calls and respond to email queriesTaking and placing orders (IRESS)Executing BPOsPreparation and collation of all information required prior to client meetings, including Financial Summary reports, portfolio performance, preferred stock recommendations, and researchMonitor and liaise with Advisers on failed settlements, and provide daily reportsSupervision of self-managed super funds (SMSF), including payment of minimum pensions and tax-appropriate concessional and non-concessional contributionsAssist with settlement queriesPrepare daily Cash Management Trust (CMT) redemptions and lodgements of term depositsAssist with Floats/IPOs/Placements/Corporate ActionsPost client meetings, work with Advisers on action points, delegate these, and ensure completionProvide advisers with post-meeting emails to keep clients updatedProvide clients’ accountants with tax reports and liaise regarding reporting queriesQuote market prices on indices, shares, and optionsManage upcoming corporate actions, Floats, IPOsLiaise with Advisers on details, timelines, and participation in Corporate ActionsQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:Previous customer and client relation experience in a professional environment, preferably within stockbroking or wealth managementExperience managing after-sales service and ongoing relationships, including client satisfaction and service level enhancementDegree qualification in a Banking-related disciplineRG 146 (preferably completed; if not, support for study will be provided)Excellent communication and influencing skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines within a teamGoal-oriented with drive and initiative
