Our Identity & Biometrics Solutions (IBS) business provides high-tech secure solutions to governments, public authorities and private entities in the fields of civil identity and public security.
We also provide solutions for verifying people's identities, for example, when they cross borders.
**Our Opportunity**
Based out of Canberra we have a very exciting and significant opportunity for a Sales Manager to lead the growth of our IBS business across Australia.
There will be a strong focus on developing the relationships with key government partners and private entities to prospect, promote and sell Identity and biometrics related solutions to these customers
The key focus areas of this role will include:
- Being the "go-to" person at Thales for Biometric solutions in Thales Australia
- Establish high-level strategic relationships with our customers and monitor activities
- Collaborate with broader Thales Team (Capture Leads, Project managers and Bid Managers) to develop tender response strategies
- Growing revenue stream across Thales Australia in IBS
- Act proactively to detect and create opportunities: identify and acquire potential customers, using internal tools to promote IBS's products
**How about you**
- Proven track record in selling Biometric solutions across Law Enforcement, Border Management and Public Sector
- Ability to develop and enhance customer relationship at all levels, and implement account plans.
- Ability to communicate with senior management of very large enterprises for sales and business relationship building.
- Knowledge of High-Tech Market: Smartcards, Chips, PKI
- Good presentation skills, capable of articulating technical proposals to decision makers at both technical and business levels.
