Finance Manager Location: Port Kembla, NSW Type: Permanent, Full‑Time Work Arrangement: Onsite
Chandler Macleod is partnering with an established business to recruit a Finance Manager for its operations. This permanent onsite role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong management reporting, ERP capability, and financial risk expertise, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with senior finance leadership to deliver accurate financial and management reports, oversee key accounting functions, analyse operating performance, and support business forecasting. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact position within a complex and dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver monthly, weekly and daily performance reports and forecasts
* Manage group consolidated reporting in line with policies, audits and standards
* Oversee ERP, GL and key accounting systems (BC, Baan, FIS Integrity, OneStream)
* Lead financial risk identification, hedge accounting and exposure monitoring
* Support business development analysis and capital expenditure reviews
* Ensure accurate P&L, balance sheet and standard cost accounting
* Partner across operations, supply chain, IT, and Treasury teams
Who are we looking for?
* Degree in Accounting + CA/CPA qualification
* Extensive experience in manufacturing accounting
* Strong ERP and GL systems background
* Ability to work across detailed and strategic levels
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
* Experience with hedge accounting highly desirable
