Essential Criteria
* An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education.
* Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner
* Demonstrated expertise as a specialist Drama and/or Music teacher
* Stage 6 Experience an advantage.
* Appropriate qualifications.
* A demonstrated capacity to align practice with a whole-school Positive Behaviour for Learning model of student support.
* An appropriate mix of pedagogical, content and technological knowledge.
* An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centred pedagogy.
* An ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to staff professional culture.
* Willingness to participate in staff professional development in partnership with the College.
* Willingness to contribute to the KLA team in their understanding of relevant curriculum and its application to the College.
* Willingness to take on co-curricular activities. This includes Drama productions, musical directing, bands, ensembles and choirs. Kildare Catholic College Creative Arts (KLA) regularly puts on variety concerts, musicals and music nights and performances for the Wagga Community.
* Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
* Current Working with Children Check
* NESA Accreditation
