Your role at St John of God Mt Lawley HospitalWe are currently seeking experienced Endoscopy Trained Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated and enthusiastic Endoscopy team at SJG Mt Lawley.The beautifully appointed, purpose-built Mt Lawley Endoscopy Unit boasts magnificent views over the Swan River.
It has two procedure rooms and a ten-bed recovery room.
The unit uses state-of-the-art technology and is staffed by highly specialised gastroenterology and endoscopy nurses.The unit provides a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.As a member of our friendly and approachable team, you will provide safe and compassionate clinical care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
You will experience different aspects of the entire Endoscopy patient journey, which is both exciting and extremely rewarding within a fast-paced environment.Roles are offered on a permanent part-time basis working 25 hours per week.The Position Maintains and develops clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.
Delivers a high standard of patient care utilising appropriate resources cost effectively.
Adheres to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards.
Acts as the patient's advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.
Participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.
Prioritises workload using resources effectively.
