Copywriting and Content Specialist
This role reports to the Lead and holds ownership for executing high-quality copy briefs and delivering a consistent tone of voice across various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of copy briefs and delivering them on time, to a high standard, and in line with brand guidelines.
* Leading content creation for longer-form copy including corporate communications, advertorial scripting, and social media scripting.
* Demonstrating a deep understanding of content objectives and the ability to write within brand tone of voice guidelines to meet those objectives and maintain consistency.
* Owning and evolving tone of voice guidelines in line with campaign performance, brand developments, and industry best practices.
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive, impactful messaging.
* Contributing original ideas and encouraging creative input from others across the team.
* Presenting and communicating copy concepts clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
* Driving fresh, innovative, and engaging ideas that push the boundaries of content excellence.
Requirements:
1. A university degree qualified in marketing, communications or a relevant field.
2. Experience in copywriting or content, preferably in retail, FMCG or e-commerce environments.
3. An effective communicator with a proven ability to bring a brand voice to life and create engaging copy that supports business outcomes.
4. Able to build and maintain effective relationships through exceptional communication and engagement.
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, being agile and adaptable is key to success.
6. Inquisitive and ready to be challenged.
7. Work collaboratively as part of a team to drive eCommerce growth in Australia and New Zealand.
