CGC Recruitment is partnering with a well-established civil engineering consultancy to appoint a Senior Civil Designer to join their Brisbane team.

The Role
You will deliver civil design solutions across a range of infrastructure and urban development projects, from concept through to detailed design. Alongside hands‐on design work, you will support junior staff and contribute to maintaining strong technical standards and efficient delivery across the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver civil design work across urban development and infrastructure projects
* Produce concept and detailed designs, drawings, and documentation
* Support and mentor junior designers and drafters
* Work closely with project leads to meet delivery timelines and budgets
* Ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality across all outputs
* Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
About You
* 8–10+ years' experience in civil design (concept through detailed design)
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d Model, and relevant civil design tools
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality design documentation
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
* Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
