Job Overview
The role of Lead Solutions Engineer (Electrical) involves overseeing all engineering and technical disciplines throughout the project lifecycle, from design to implementation.
* Lead the technical aspects of BESS projects from conceptualization to handover, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, schedules, and industry standards.
* Develop detailed specifications for the overall BESS solution, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate proposals from BOP contractors, identify potential project risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system integrity.
* Formulate system-level test plans to validate performance, safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring systems meet all relevant codes and customer requirements.
* Supervise installations and commissioning at supplier workshops and on-site, working collaboratively with Fluence and sub-contractor teams to achieve timely and safe project completion.
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years of experience in an energy, engineering, or battery storage-related field.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
* Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to review contracts, technical requirements, and engineering deliverables.
