Lead Midwife and Team Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled Lead Midwife to coordinate the midwifery team, providing exceptional care to women and babies.
* Coordinate daily operations of the midwifery team and ensure that patient-centered care is provided at all times.
* Supervise less experienced staff, guiding and developing them to achieve their full potential.
* Demonstrate leadership and management skills, ensuring a high-performing team that delivers quality patient outcomes.
* Practice evidence-based care, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge to tailor care to each patient's needs.
* Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
* At least 3 years post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse/Midwife.
* Demonstrated competence in relevant midwifery practice at proficient to expert level.
* Experience in supervising student nurses/midwives and less experienced staff.
