The Opportunity: Our Quality & Operations (Q&O) team support Ashurst Risk Advisory, ensuring we operate at the highest standard for our clients, both external and internal. We are an interactive, fast paced team working as a trusted advisor to the Risk Advisory partners and staff. As a key member of Q&O team, this role works closely with engagement partners and directors to ensure the right people are assigned to the right engagements balancing utilisation, cost, delivery risk and employee wellbeing with business needs and strategic objectives. This role supports operational excellence, improves utilisation and enhances employee and client experience. Key responsibilities will include: Manage resource requests across our APAC Risk Advisory team, balancing business priorities, capability needs and consultant development. Actively managing available resources, understanding their capability and expertise, and proactively identifying opportunities. Manage potential resourcing conflicts including early identification and resolution. Match individuals to resource requests based on skills, experience, availability, location, and conflict constraints. Balance speed with quality of fit, manage backfills and coordinate multi-project workloads. Build and maintain strong relationships with Partners and Directors to understand project requirements, staff needs and issues on performance. Act as a trusted advisor to engagement teams and staff, conducting regular wellbeing check-ins. Maintain accurate resourcing data in our workforce management systems, on availability and exception management, track availability changes and integrate them into schedules. Produce weekly reports on forecast accuracy, utilisation and variance analysis. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal conflict resolution and negotiating skills to balance individual and business needs. Adaptability and flexibility to manage changes in priorities and urgent requests. Analytical skills along with PowerPoint and Excel to assist with weekly variance reporting; experience using Power BI is a bonus. Can do attitude with a willingness to get things done and be hands on.
