Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the facilities management of multiple office locations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and protocols.
* Develop and implement effective maintenance programs to prevent downtime and extend the lifespan of company assets.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.
To achieve this, you will need to have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in managing physical office spaces and coordinating maintenance and safety compliance.
Australia is known for its strict security regulations, so it's essential to have knowledge of Australian Defence security regulations, including the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and other Defence-specific security protocols and relevant legislation.
The Facilities and Security Manager will lead and supervise facilities and administrative staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proven experience in facilities management and security operations, ideally within the Defence or a similarly regulated industry.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating with external vendors and contractors.
