Job Title: Clinical Mental Health Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Mental Health Professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology or social work, full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or clinical endorsement with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), and eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
* Conduct thorough assessments of clients with a range of health and mental health complaints, disabilities, and complex psychosocial barriers to employment.
* Offer person-centred counselling interventions as needed, utilising various psychological methodologies.
* Engage clients with additional external support services to help address barriers.
* Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases.
* Liaise with referring GPs, other medical professionals, and community agencies on behalf of clients.
* Provide training and guidance to colleagues on psychological and psychotherapeutic services and procedures.
The successful applicant will have exceptional communication and rapport-building skills, proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports, and a commitment to generating positive outcomes for clients.
