- Prepare and deliver high quality food to detainees meeting all hygiene standards
- Casual position covering shifts from 10.30am - 8pm for lunch and dinner service

You have a positive attitude with a strong work ethic and good verbal and written communication skills. Your experience in following directions whilst working in a diverse fast paced environment allows you to be a good team player. Your dedication to nutritious food will enable you to provide well-presented food to detainees. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
- Minimum Certificate II in Kitchen Operations (SIT20312) or equivalent qualification
- Basic Food Hygiene / Food Safety Handling Certificate
- Demonstrated experience with basic kitchen processes and food preparation.
- Sound understanding of HACCP principles.
- Ability to assist the Catering Manager and Chefs in preparation of the daily menu
- Ensure all tasks are performed in a timely manner and comply with internal policy and legislative requirements.
- First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- Understanding of OHS legislation and management of hazards.
