About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen and uplift the organization's cyber security posture. This role plays a critical
part in ICT governance, risk assessment, and compliance, while also supporting the implementation of cyber security controls and day-to-day security operations
across the organisation.

To be
considered for this position, you will need:
* Tertiary qualification in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent industry
certifications with practical experience in a cybersecurity role.
* Minimum of (5) years' experience in an ICT environment, including at least (2) year focused on cybersecurity
operations, risk, or compliance.
Position Description – IT Cybersecurity Analyst
* Working knowledge of security tools such as antivirus/EDR platforms, vulnerability scanners, and basic
SIEM systems.
* Understanding of Microsoft 365 security features (e.g. MFA, conditional access) and Active Directory
account security.
* Familiarity with security frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISM, or ISO 27001, OAG and their application
in day-to-day operations.
* Ability to assist with policy and procedure development, incident handling, and risk identification.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security alerts and support incident response.
* Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and communicate with
non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, manage competing priorities, and take initiative when
required.
* Commitment to continuous learning in the cybersecurity field.
* Current satisfactory National Police Clearance.
* Current WA "C" Class driver's licence.
