Financial Controller
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team responsible for all financial accounting, audit, tax, controls, statutory obligations and financial operations.
Ensure delivery of accurate, timely and well-governed financials, strengthening processes, improving systems and embedding efficiency and scalability.
Enhance automation, upgrade processes and improve the quality and clarity of financial information for the Board and executive team.
Initiate change and drive projects such as systems migrations.
Qualifications
CA/CPA-qualified senior finance leader with 8+ years' experience, including at least two years in a financial control leadership role.
Strong technical expertise, experience leading Australian audits, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, growing environments.
Background in private equity, multi-site operations, education, or tech-enabled businesses highly regarded.
Prior experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered firm is a plus.
Leadership capability and appetite to initiate change and drive transformation initiatives.
