About the Role –
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Maintenance Fitter and Machine Setter to join our Day Shift (6.00am -2.00pm).

As part of our Maintenance Team, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining our production machinery, troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring our operations run seamlessly. Your ability to diagnose issues quickly and efficiently will keep our production lines moving and our quality standards high.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnosing and repairing machinery breakdowns efficiently.
- Machine setting and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Assisting with production line changeovers.
- Providing ongoing maintenance support to the production team.
- Performing general maintenance tasks in a food processing environment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
- TIG welding skills are highly regarded.
- Fabricating and machining spare parts and components.
- Carrying out preventative maintenance to maximise line efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Mechanical Trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Electrical disconnect & reconnect licence (advantageous).
- Strong TIG welding and fabrication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to safety and safe work practices.
- Experience working in food, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing (essential).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humour!
