Job Title : Director – Fund Operations
A leading investment management organisation is seeking an experienced Director of Fund Operations to provide strategic leadership across their Australian operations.
This is a high-impact role combining technical expertise, people leadership, and operational oversight.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership and partnering with internal stakeholders, the Director will lead three core teams : Unit Pricing, Financial Reporting and Relationship Management.
The role is responsible for ensuring robust financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements, while driving operational improvements and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and guidance to a high-performing team, including full people management responsibilities.
Set team strategy and objectives, leveraging data and analysis to improve processes and business outcomes.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, tax filings, and dividend processing.
Implement operational plans, policies, and control enhancements while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to ensure accountability and service quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives and operational improvements.
Candidate Profile Extensive experience in financial services audit and / or fund accounting or fund operations
CPA or CA qualified non negotiable.
