About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Central Queensland. As a key member of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service, you will be responsible for assessing and formulating treatment interventions for consumers with severe and complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide referral, liaison and interagency collaborative care planning to achieve best practice outcomes for consumers and carers.
">
* Advocate for consumers and their families/carers, providing support and guidance in navigating the mental health system.
">
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each consumer.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong educational background in Speech Pathology, with a minimum of a tertiary degree qualification. Eligibility for practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia is also required.

A postgraduate tertiary qualification relevant to the position would be highly desirable.
