About the role
The Parks Project Manager delivers parks and open space capital works across the Inner West, overseeing projects from early investigations and design through to procurement, construction and completion. The role ensures projects in parks, sportsfields, reserves, gardens and foreshore areas are well‐planned, safe, accessible and aligned with Council's strategic objectives.
Within the Capital Works team, the role manages contractors and consultants, prepares project scopes and tenders, monitors budgets and timelines, and ensures high‐quality community engagement throughout the project lifecycle. The role supports the delivery of sustainable, functional and community‐focused public spaces by applying strong project management, technical knowledge and collaborative problem‐solving.

Remuneration
$99,115.12 - $132,135.64 + 12% Superannuation
Key requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering OR equivalent industry experience in capital works delivery.
* Demonstrated practical experience in the investigation, evaluation, design and specification of capital works infrastructure to relevant industry standards, codes and legislation.
* Well developed procurement and project management skills.
* Computer skills, including demonstrated experience with word processing, spreadsheets, project management software and CAD.
