The Roles
These engineering roles requiring strong project experience, design oversight, reporting capability and commercial acumen. You'll work closely with the delivery teams to ensure all systems are safe, optimised, and scalable.
Your responsibilities:
* Provide technical and design advise across solar and BESS projects.
* Conduct technical due diligence for pre-construction, construction and operational assets
* Engineering design, review & guidance including SLD's, Protection Settings, SCADA & Communication Design
* EPC/BOP technical specifications
* Provide strong technical understanding of Grid Connection processes, Generator Performance Standards and Modelling Packages
* Technical Documentation & Specifications including EPC specification, BOP specification, Owners Requirements and Testing & Commissioning Plans
Experience
* 5 years plus experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
* Solar & BESS technical design engineering will be
highly desired
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, 4777, 2067, etc.)
* Strong understanding of grid connection process in Australia
* Experience writing EPC/BOP specifications
* Proven experience reviewing engineering designs and SLDs
* Experience dealing with EPC, OEMs and NSP/AEMO
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* Strong commercial acumen and client management experience
* High attention to detail
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or relevant technical degree
* Knowledge of PVSyst, AutoCAD, PVCase, RatedPower
* Power systems modelling experience (PSSE/PSCAD) would be advantageous
