Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Parts Interpreter to join our team in the Greater Melbourne Area for an on-site, full-time position. In this role, you will assist customers in identifying and procuring automotive parts, provide excellent customer service, and support the parts department with inventory management and sales. Daily tasks include consulting with customers to determine their parts needs, maintaining accurate inventory records, handling inquiries, and ensuring the timely processing of orders. You'll play a key role in building strong relationships with customers and suppliers while contributing to the smooth operation of the dealership.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory management, and the ability to interpret parts catalogs.
* Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships.
* Experience with parts sales processes, order management, and working with suppliers or manufacturers.
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management systems or dealership software.
* Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in the automotive industry or a relevant certification in automotive parts interpretation is highly desirable.
* Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to enhance service delivery.
