About the Role
Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Service Advisor to join our team in Mt Isa.
This is a Permanent Full Time, Monday to Friday role, working closely with our Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective service with nil customer complaints.
- Maintain explicit, regular communication with customers on quotes, job progress, and invoicing.
- Ensure accurate job closure with correct parts, labour, and misc.
items for invoicing.
- Monitor job quality and efficiency.
- Accurately code all documentation in Microsoft AX.
- Verify daily labour hours, investigate discrepancies, and support workflow efficiency.
- Support scheduling, labour allocation, and segment closure with the Leading Hand.
- Assist in preparing accurate repair estimates and ensure timely customer delivery via AX.
- Provide accurate invoicing forecasts.
- Collaborate with Leading Hand and Technicians on job scope and deliverables.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Hold a relevant Trade Qualification.
- Proven and demonstrated experience working within a Frontline service department within the heavy mining and construction industries.
- Sound computing skills including good working knowledge of Microsoft AX and Power BI systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and products and services.
- Ability to maintain a high level of workplace health and safety.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on expectations.
- Australian/NZ Citizen or AUS Permanent Resident applicants only (temporary residents not accepted).
