The Role
We’re seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead and support the delivery of safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible construction projects across Australia.
This role plays a key part in driving a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation, and continuously improving our health, safety, and environmental performance across multiple sites.
You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and senior leadership to ensure best-practice EHS standards are embedded in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental Management
* Implement and maintain TSL’s EHS policies across all projects
* Promote strong EHS awareness among employees and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with legislation and company standards
Site Inspections & Risk Management
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits
* Track and close out corrective actions
* Review risk assessments, method statements, and safe work systems
* Ensure permits, hazard assessments, and documentation are properly managed
Incident Management
* Support investigations into incidents and near misses
* Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
* Ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution
Training & Site Welfare
* Oversee site inductions for all personnel
* Ensure welfare facilities meet compliance standards
* Support teams in embedding a strong safety culture
General Support
* Provide day-to-day EHS guidance to project teams
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
* Support continuous improvement initiatives
About You
Essential
* Diploma of WHS (or equivalent)
* Proven experience on construction sites
* Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Full, clean driver’s licence
Desirable
* Additional EHS qualifications
* Experience implementing HSE systems across multiple projects
